| At first I liked Turtwig but Chimchar has proven to be the better starter than Turtwig and Piplup. Like Aklish said, "You can't go wrong with a Monkey" | |

| Well,Piplup ive never tried yet so don't judge me.
On pokemon pearl i had Chimchar and beat every gym with amazing ease.
Turtwig is pretty good with earthquake,but when i had chimchar i just grabbed a budew at the begining of the game.
BTW I play platinum because pokemon pearl got stollen and i chose turtwig. | |

| in every game except silver gold the fire type kicks all the others asses. because the fire types can counter the weaknesses and most times have faster speed than the other two combined | |

reasons
1.i like monkeys
2.it can beat turtwig and it wont be quick to attack my chimp.
3.i like monkeys.
4.it can learn fighting and ground attacks that can beat piplup in final evolution.
5. lastly i like fighting monkeys | |
